Electrostatic Powder Coating Application Procedure
Follow the procedure below when applying the product PE TGIC RAL 9003 PÜTÜRLÜ.
Part Acceptance & Physical Inspection
Visually inspect the metal surface for burrs, deep scratches, laser/plasma cutting slag, or heavy rust. Perform mechanical cleaning (sanding, grinding) if needed.
Degreasing
Clean protective oils, cutting fluids, or dirt in alkaline or acidic baths. Ensure bath temperature and concentration match the recipe.
Intermediate Rinsing
Rinse with mains water to completely remove degreasing chemicals from the surface.
Surface Conversion Coating
Apply the appropriate surface treatment bath (iron phosphate, zinc phosphate, or nanotechnological zirconium/silane). This ensures paint adhesion and corrosion resistance.
Final Rinse & Passivation (DI Water)
Perform final rinse with deionized (pure) water. Verify water conductivity is within limits (e.g. <30 µS).
Drying
Fully dry parts in a drying oven (typically 110°C–130°C). Never bring parts into the coating booth until all water droplets are gone.
